Adventure

On your first visit to Peace Falls, you will be accompanied by one of our staff. This helps ensure your safety. Though the hike is not difficult or dangerous, there are narrow places, semi-steep grades, streams to hop, wildlife to mind, and rocks that may or may not be slick. Plenty of adventure for the whole trip. 

The whole way along you'll be accompanied by the sights and sounds of the rainforest and passing smaller, pristine waterfalls.

Payment in full is due at the time of reservation. Full refund if you cancel more than 48 hours prior to the event. Reservation is non-refundable less than two days (48 hours) prior to the event.

Arrival/Departure

Upon reservation, we will send you detailed instructions on how to drive to Finca Secreta and where to park. For planning purposes, you can find our general location on our About Us page. Driving to Finca Secreta requires a car with four-wheel drive. The experience is a full-day experience. 

Options for transportation include:

1. Taxi (we can provide recommendations)

2. Personal four-wheel drive car

The arrival time can be adjusted to your convenience.  We recommend 9:00 AM arrival and 11:00 departure so you can leave in time to have lunch. Or you can order a farm lunch and enjoy it at the waterfall.

Rules and Disclaimers

• First-time visitors must be attended by a member of our staff.

• The trail and falls are closed during heavy rainfalls and the dark periods of the day

• Pack out what you brought in. 

• Leave nature as it is. No mushroom harvesting as we like to let nature mature and often leave special plants and materials where they are.

• You hike and swim at your own risk. By reserving your spot you and each member of your party waive any liability for any physical harm to yourselves or your property.

• Drive slowly inside the farm and little village of San Salvador. The locals appreciate this as many visitors drive very fast and this is hard on the locals living near the road.

• The farm is accessible only with four-wheel drive cars.
